RESTORE promotes sustainable land management, creating links between human activity and biodiversity.

RESTORE is an innovative financing vehicule for biodiversity preservation & restoration. It aims at proving concrete actions that deliver tangible and measurable biodiversity  outcomes for future compliance schemes.

Against a backdrop of the erosion of life forms and the weakening of ecosystems around the world, RESTORE aims to bring investors closer to projects on the ground, so that they can take concrete, objective and sustainable action.

RESTORE is our main financial partner and has made possible the first biodiversity certification project in Peru, which is currently being implemented in the Sierra del Divisor National Park.

Peruvian National Service for Natural Protected Areas

SERNANP ensures the conservation of Peru's network of National Protected Natural Areas and its biodiversity.

SERNANP's mission is implemented within the framework of participatory management with local populations, articulated with Peru's policy to ensure the protection of country's natural heritage.

SERNANP in its capacity as technical-regulatory authority, it works in coordination with regional and local governments and owners of properties recognized as private conservation areas.

SERNANP's goal is to conserve the vast biodiversity of Peru and to make it possible for all Peruvians to take advantage of the resources they provide in a sustainable way for eternity.

Centro para el Desarrollo del Indígena Amazónico

Founded in 1982, CEDIA is Peru's leading NGO in native communities legal land sanitation and titling. 

CEDIA has led the legal and physical land sanitation effort of c. 50% of Amazon native communities land in Peru, leading to  effectively  land titling of  c. 7 million ha of community land in the Peruvian Amazon, a unique achievement. 

CEDIA led the creation of several protected areas, including Sierra del Divisor National Park, being responsible in implementing the FPIC process, a first in Peru's history, and community land titling. 

CEDIA is our key partner in several initiatives in Peru, including Sierra del Divisor Conservation Corridor Programme, alongside local communities.

JBM -  Jardín Botánico De Missouri, Peru

Peruvian chapter of the Missouri Botanical Garden, JBM, is the leading organisation in the botanical exploration in Peru.

JBM currently implements applied research activities in 8 protected natural areas at national level, managing a total of 122 sampling plots installed all over Peru,  which  is an outstanding repository of scientific data for Latin America.

Since 2003, it has managed the Selva Central Herbarium (HOXA) with a collection of more than 80 thousand specimens deposited, providing resources to national and international researchers. 

JBM succeeded in inserting more than seven thousand additional species to the list of plants reported for Peru’s central Andes amazon rainforest (selva central).
